Daniel J. Hennessy

Assistant General Counsel

A new addition to the Garfield Public/Private team, Daniel J. Hennessy brings a fresh perspective and insight. Immediately prior to joining the Garfield team, Daniel held a position at the Vatican Museum, coordinating the international network of patrons that finance the majority of its art restoration projects. With a background in Liberal Arts and Philosophy, extensive experience with non-profit, mission-driven organizations both in the United States and abroad, as well as spoken and written fluency in Spanish and Italian, Daniel is quick to evaluate any situation from different angles, and always with a knack for critical thinking. His international experience, dealing with people of diverse cultures, has given him a keen ability to listen, as well as communicate clearly and effectively.

Over the years, Daniel has led and formed part of numerous committees for major cultural initiatives such as Menorah: Worship, History, Myth, the first ever joint exhibit between the Vatican Museum and the Synagogue of Rome; and the Fatherhood and Leadership Initiative in Philadelphia.
