Dallas County Criminal Courts

Development services provided by Ray Garfield for this project included providing site acquisition, assembly and financial advisory and support services, and successfully advocating passage of the bond referendum that funded the entire development.

Additional services included facilitating the assembly of the 20–acre site by optioning the ideal sites using an attractive “involuntary conversion” tax treatment in which landowners allowed “friendly condemnation” in a cooperative negotiation with Dallas County.
